Briefly noted:
- I worked my way through college as a waiter, yet I’ve never felt the need while out dining to correct my server when he or she poured my wine from the left
- I’ve had a lifelong interest in performance driving, yet I’ve never flagged down another driver to correct them for not accelerating through the apex
- I’m employed as a software engineer who specializes in Python, yet I’ve never corrected a developer for using sprintf string concatenation rather than the more efficient ”.join()
That list could go on and on, but the short story is that I’m simply not interested in calling people out when the way they’re doing something gets the job done perfectly well.
Which makes it that much harder for me to understand why graphic designers make unsolicited redesigns of other sites.
